This ensures clear ownership of supplier communication.
When conversations become read-only
Supplier conversations automatically become read-only in certain situations:
The request is closed or cancelled
The candidate is rejected
The candidate is withdrawn
When this happens, the conversation history is preserved but new messages cannot be sent.
You will see a banner explaining why the conversation is locked.
If request ownership changes
If the ownership of a request is transferred:
The new request owner gains full access to the conversation
The previous owner loses write access
The full message history remains available to the new owner.
