Duplicate a request

Duplication helps you work faster, stay consistent, and maintain high-quality requests with less effort.

Duplicating a request is a simple way to save time and keep consistency when you need to create a new request that is similar to one you’ve used before. Instead of starting from a blank form, the duplicated request carries over the structure, fields, and setup that you already know work well. This helps you avoid repetitive work and reduces the risk of missing important details.

  1. Navigate to the Request list and find the request you want to duplicate.

  2. Click on Action ⋮ and select Duplicate request. Now an exact copy of your request will appear in the list as a draft, ready for you to work on.

This is especially useful when you:

  • often hire for the same type of role

  • have repeating needs across teams

  • want new requests to follow an established standard.

By duplicating an existing request, you can create a new one in seconds and then just adjust what’s different this time.

In short, duplication helps you work faster, stay consistent, and maintain high-quality requests with less effort.
