When a request has attracted a handful of strong candidates, the hard part is telling them apart. Opening one card, remembering the rate, closing it, opening the next — the comparison happens in your head, and details slip.
Compare puts your shortlist in a single grid, so the differences are visible instead of remembered.
Starting a comparison
There are two ways in:
From the Candidates tab of an interim report, tick between 2 and 10 candidates and select Compare.
From an individual candidate card, open the Next step menu and start a comparison from there.
What you can compare
Each candidate becomes a column, with one row per attribute:
Hourly rate
Profile match against the role
Rating
Availability
Language
Supplier notes
Reading across a row shows you how the field differs on one dimension at a time.
Working inside the comparison
Pin your frontrunners so they stay visible while you scroll through the rest.
Add or remove candidates without leaving the view.
Star-rate inline — ratings you set here are saved to the candidate, exactly as if you had set them on the card.
Open the full candidate card by clicking a name; it opens on top of the comparison, so you keep your place.
Who can use it
Compare is available to everyone with access to the request, on all interim requests. There is nothing to enable.
